WCB ate PIZZA for lunch today!!!

For those who have missed the meeting today, here are the updates. . .

-We need more recruits!!!
Especially from the Sec Ones and Twos cohort!
If not you may have to change instruments to fill up the empty sections.
The desire amount of members for each section is on the white board.
-JUNE BAND CAMP coming up.
-There will be NO FESTSPIEL this year!
-We'll have it next year in MARCH. (alumni members are welcome.)
-We'll be going for OVERSEAS TRIP this DECEMBER again!!!
-Should be going to HONG KONG, second week of December.
-There'll be a PARENTS' EVENING to brief them on the overseas trip.
We'll be performing a few songs for them.
-BAND PRAC will be SUSPENDED from tomorrow onwards. (aww...)
-Will RESUME on 22 May 2007!
-Graduating members are welcome to stay for band practises. :)

SPEECH DAY! TOMORROW!
Only for BRASSES AND PERCUSSIONISTS!!!

Syf was well done.
We left the stage with pride.
Its enough.

All band members who took part in the syf'07 are to meet in the canteen at 1.20 for a surprise..u all are excused for your lessons if you hav any after 1.20p.m.
2.30p.m will be the whole band's meeting with mr sukit in the band room..everyone have to be present.

LAST 2 DAYS!!!
WHITLEY CONCERT BAND WILL SOAR HIGH!
It's already the last 2 day before our SYF!!!

We'll do our best on stage. (:

It's probably the last 2 days you'll see me in band,
My last 2 days standing in front of WCB's contingent as a DM.
My last 2 days sitting in the band room as a Clarinetist of WCB.
My last 2 days greeting "SAT WATT DEE AHH CHAN KING".
My last 2 days saying "Thank you Sir, Goodbye Sir, See you Sir, Sayonara Sir Adios Sir".
My last 2 days . . .
My last SYF.
My last performance.
My last glory i can do for WCB.
My last time wearing my band uniform.

THREE MORE DAYS!!!
Everybody wished US good luck for our SYF!
Mr Brendo Tan was here with US.
Our Principal came down to listen to US.
Our alumni members giving US their fullest support.
Our teachers-in-charge trying their very best to help US in a way or another.
Mr Sukit and Mr Gavin doing their best to make US better. (not forgetting Mr Note*)
WE SHALL IMPRESS EACH AND EVERYONE OF THEM!

-Night Safari

There will be BAND PRAC on MONDAY afternoon.
2.30 p.m sharp FALL IN outside the BAND ROOM.
All after school's lessons will be excused.

TUESDAY, 17 APRIL 2007
No Lessons for those participating in SYF. (hurray...)
Settle down in the BAND ROOM by 12 NOON.
Dressed up neatly in your FULL BAND UNIFORM
[blazers, white top, black bottom, black socks, black boots.]
Get ready for our FINAL run through.

Juniors,
you guys will be going to SCH with us too.
Report to Band Room only AFTER SCHOOL.
You'll not be excused from lessons.
Please wear your school uniform smartly.
Listen up for instructions.
Nonsensical behaviour will not be tolerated.

2.30p.m , we should be on the bus.
We MUST reach SCH at 3.30 p.m SHARP!
We'll do our best and bring that medal back. =)
We'll cheer, cry, laugh, sigh, smile, hug, scream, shout, clap. . .
And that marks the end of my Secondary School's Band life.
But Whitley Concert Band will stay in my heart forever.
