ANNOUNCEMENT!!
Pls take note that the sec 1 camp will be changed from 23rd-25th feb to 2nd-4th march(fri-sun).
Time and schedule will be the same.
Yesterday's chinese new year performance was great.
All thanks to the band members(including juniors),teachers-in-charge and Mr sukit.
Next most important event coming up will be syf '07.
Work hard to achieve our goal.
We can do it.

NEW YEAR EVE,
Yesterday was my last Chinese New Year performance with WCB
But the most enjoyable CNY performance in my life in WCB.
THREE CHEERS and THREE CHEERS and THREE CHEERS
for WHITLEY CONCERT BAND!
and of course not forgetting our JUNIORS.
You guys were great. Throwing red packets and giving oranges.
Last but not the least,
our Band Major who conducted us in Qipao and heels.
The audience screamed with excitement when they saw her!!! OMG!
Around of applause for her.

Hope that you guys had enjoyed yourself during the performance.
HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR!!!

TOMORROW,
Lessons will ends at 8.45a.m for the band band members.
Change into your red top and blue jeans. White shoes.
Get ready in the band room by 9a.m for our last combine prac before the performance.
Juniors (involved in CNY performance) get ready by 9a.m too.

When on stage,
keep quiet and look at the conductor (Miss Tan Xinyi) when playing.

One last important thing,
open your ears big and listen up for instructions

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY
Chinese New Year Rehearsal on Thursay (15th Feb).
Remember to fall in at 2.20 sharp.
Percussionists, try to be in the band room by 2pm.
You guys need to move your instruments to the hall.
Rehearsal starts at 2.45pm sharp, we're the first item.
Juniors involved in the CNY performance,
remember to bring what you suspose to bring.

CNY performance - 16th Feb'07.
We'll be performing for both lower and upper sec assembly.

Attire - Red top, blue jeans and white shoes.

You guys can come over to my place on 18th Feb (first day of CNY).

Its's specially for the Sec Ones to prepare for the upcoming
BALLOON HAT FESTIVAL and FESTSPIEL XVIII.

What to bring? What we'll be doing? What songs?

Reminder
We'll be wearing red shirt and jeans for the chinese new year performance.
We'll still have lessons,so wear your school uniform to school and change into red shirt and jeans. There will be a rehearsal on the 12th and 15th feb, mon and thurs, at 2.45pm.
Pls do not be late.
Seniors,pls take care of your juniors.
Teach them how to play properly and how to handle their instruments.
Juniors are supposed to get a file and a cloth ready.
Pack your section cupboards.
Files and everything in order.
Simon will be checking on thurs.
Pls try to keep the band room clean at all times.
Do not litter on the floor.
Main band, stack up chairs in the band room leaving just enough chairs for the juniors.
We will most likely be practising outdoors.
Lastly, syf '07 is coming.
Practice hard.
You all should know how we sound after today.
Work hard on those parts that you don't know.

Headcoms, there will be a meeting with Mr Sukit after band on thurs.Will be a short one.

IT'S TUESDAY!!!
6th Feb'07, this coming Tuesday.
We'll be going to Singapore Conference Hall for our rehearsal for SYF'07.
We are excused from lessons after 9.55a.m.
Have your recess and report to band room latest by 10.30a.m.
Get everything ready. (Instruments, scores and accessories needed.)
The bus will be leaving school at 11a.m sharp.

We should be back from SCH by 1.30p.m.
Have your lunch and band practice at 2.30p.m as usual.

HEAD COMS,
H.Com Meeting with Miss Juanna and Mr Sukit will be during the lunch break.
